L’objectif de ce projet d’école était de
créer un escalier hélicoïdal. Mais pas un simple escalier : un escalier
hélicoïdal unique.
L’escalier représente pour moi un
véritable entre deux mondes. C’est l’instrument d’un voyage qui nous mène
parfois vers l’inconnu.
C’est pourquoi j’ai dessiné un escalier
répondant à cette relation. Un escalier que nous pouvons ouvrir ou fermer au grès
de nos besoins et de nos envies. A partager ou non.
Fermé, il a une apparence étrange… Est-ce
un meuble, une œuvre d’art ou simplement un mur ?
Ouvert, il montre toutes les possibilités
qu’il offre. Aller d’un espace à un autre, prendre une forme différente,
laisser paraitre son utilisateur…
Ainsi, nous avons le choix de le laisser
ouvert, pour qu’il profite à tous, ou fermé pour protéger notre aventure, notre
intimité and prendre ainsi une toute petite place dans l’espace.
The objective
of this school project was to create a spiral staircase. But not a simply
spiral staircase: an unique spiral staircase.
The staircase represents for me a true inter world. It is an instrument of travel which sometimes takes us into the unknown.

That is why I drew a staircase answering this relationship. A staircase which we
opened or closed in accordance with our needs and desires.
To share or not.
Closed,
it has a strange appearance… Is it furniture, a piece of art or simply a wall?
Open, it leaves any reflected of its potential. To go from one space to another, to take
a different form, to show through it the user...
Thus, we have the choice to leave it open, so that benefits all, or close it and protect our adventure, our privacy and take a
small place in the space.
